Recommended camera equipment:
A telephoto lens of 300mm or more will undoubtedly be indispensable for photographing the main subjects of this tour.
We recommend the use of a camera head and tripod in order to ensure greater stability when taking photos and videos.

Day by Day Program
Day 1 – Arrival in Madrid
20.00: Arrival in Madrid in the early afternoon and transfer to the Picos de Europa National Park where we will stay for 4 nights (4h)
21.00: Dinner, briefing and overnight stay
Day 2 – Asturias
5.00: Wake up at dawn and move to the first photo shed dedicated to the Royal Eagle and with a little luck it will also be possible to spot the wild cat.
11.30: Return in the late morning and relaxation at the hotel
13.oo: Lunch at the hotel
18.00: In the late afternoon we will leave for the first safari dedicated to the wild cat: here we will move in several cars in search of this elusive feline in the areas of greater density. Cats are sometimes very quiet and it is possible to photograph them by getting out of the car.
21.30 Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Giorno 3 – Asturie
5.00: Wake up at dawn and move to the first photo shed dedicated to vultures. Here the species spotted are many, including griffin, vulture, monk vulture, golden eagle and with a little luck some foxes.
11.30: Return in the late morning and relaxation at the hotel
13.oo: Lunch at the hotel
18.00: In the late afternoon we will leave for the first safari dedicated to the wild cat: here we will move in several cars in search of this elusive feline in the areas of greater density. Cats are sometimes very quiet and it is possible to photograph them by getting out of the car.
21.30: Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Giorno 4 – Asturie
5.00: Wake up at dawn and move at high altitude. We will reach a beautiful area at about 2000m altitude to dedicate a photo session to high-altitude avifauna. Blue throat, Common rock thrush, Alpine accentor, are some of the species that we will be able to observe freely and a few meters without the use of sheds or anything else. During the journey it will also be possible to observe the wild cat and with a lot of luck the Cantabrian brown bear.
11.30/12.00: Return to the hotel
13.00: Lunch
18.00: In the late afternoon we will leave for the first safari dedicated to the wild cat: here we will move in several cars in search of this elusive feline in the areas of greater density. Cats are sometimes very quiet and it is possible to photograph them by getting out of the car.
Day 5 – Asturias and return to Madrid
8.00: Breakfast and departure for Madrid with arrival in the early afternoon. (about 4h)
13.00: Arrival from Madrid International Airport, greetings before departure
**The program may be subject to changes agreed with the group. Each variation will be only and solely to improve the photographic experience.
*We will look to optimize our sessions through the experience of our guide who will help us get closer to specimens in the open field to get close-up images. In fact, the wild cat here is not particularly wary and with the correct behaviors it is possible to make excellent approaches.
